USAR Task Force Rigging Kit

The USAR Task Force Rigging Kit is a comprehensive rope rescue system designed specifically for Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) operations. This kit is built around the equipment that is commonly found on FEMA and USAR requirements lists, making it an essential tool for a wide range of rescue scenarios including over-the-side rescues, trench rescues, confined space operations, and technical rope rescue situations. It combines hauling, lowering, patient packaging, anchor-building, and edge protection equipment into a complete deployment-ready solution that is tailored to the needs of professional USAR teams.

At the core of this system are two CMC CLUTCH™ by Harken™ devices, which provide efficient raising, smooth lowering, anti-panic braking, force-limiting overload protection, and integrated beckets for advanced rescue rigging. These devices are critical in ensuring controlled movement during high-stress rescue operations. The kit also includes the versatile AZTEK ProSeries™ LT System, a rescue litter with patient packaging equipment, anchor gear, rope bags, and edge protection components that allow for a variety of mechanical advantage applications. Available in either an 11 mm or 13 mm rope configuration, the USAR Task Force Rigging Kit delivers the equipment necessary to build main and belay systems while maintaining the flexibility required for complex rescue operations.

Designed with practicality and efficiency in mind, this rigging kit includes a range of technical gear that is essential for USAR teams. It features a Shasta Gear Bag with Shoulder Strap – Red, a Truck Cache – Red, a Litter Pack, and two Rope Bags (#2) – Orange and Red, which help organize and transport all the necessary components quickly and effectively. The AZTEK ProSeries™ LT System is a key component that allows for versatile mechanical advantage applications in various rescue scenarios. The kit also includes a variety of technical gear such as ProSeries Locking Carabiners, ProSwivel 1.5" PMP SS Pulleys, and ProSwivel 1.5" Double Pulleys, which are essential for building and maintaining rigging systems.
