The Interlogix M5PBMSP-DN PXNplus CPU Card Kit is a microcontroller designed for access control and alarm systems that comply with U.S. government security standards HSPD-12 and FIPS 201. It acts as a communication bridge between GE’s Picture Perfect Secure Perfect software, card readers, keypads, and input/output devices using Ethernet or serial interfaces.

This CPU supports distributed processing, allowing it to operate independently from the host computer. This enables immediate responses to door inputs while freeing the host system for other tasks such as database management and reporting.
