The Javelin 8K HDMI EDID Emulator ensures a handshake with older HDMI monitors. This compact device features an HDMI 2.0 male source input and a female output to a display. It can learn and store desired EDID from displays in up to 8K60 and 4K120 resolutions, and it includes an "EDID Learn" mode that allows you to emulate up to HDMI 2.1. The emulator features preinstalled standard resolutions that make it easy to create a seamless EDID handshake with displays that may not support EDID to sync with your source gear. No external power is needed for the passive inline device, which is VESA and CEA standards compliant.
