The Matrox MVX-D5150F Maevex H.264 Decoder is designed for high-quality video decoding and processing. It supports single-channel HD video up to 1920 x 1080p (60 Hz) and 1920 x 1200 (56 Hz). The device uses H.264/MPEG4 Part 10 (AVC) compression with profiles including baseline, main, and high, and levels up to 4.2. It features a 100/1000base-T Ethernet interface for networking, supporting streaming protocols like RTSP/RTP/RTCP over UDP.

The device includes two RJ45 fully switched network connectors and HDMI output with digital L-PCM audio. Audio line out is provided via 3.5 mm stereo analog. It also has a CMS for network configuration and control, OS support for Windows 8 & 8.1, Windows Server 2012 & 2012 R2, and Windows 7, with power supply from 100 to 240 VAC.
