The MIDI Solutions F8 MIDI Utility is a rackmount device that converts electrical signals into various MIDI messages such as note, continuous controller, pitch bend, program change, and others. It allows triggering MIDI events through a footswitch or contact closure. The unit includes 8 x 1/4" TS footswitch inputs, a 5-pin MIDI input, and a 5-pin MIDI output. Triggered events are merged with incoming messages and sent to the MIDI output of the Footswitch Controller. The device operates on MIDI power and can function independently.
