The Mobotix MX-PROX-BOX is a motion detector module featuring a radar sensor that uses microwave technology to detect moving objects with precision. It offers an 80 degree horizontal and 34 degree vertical field of view, capable of sensing people up to 49 feet and vehicles up to 114 feet away.
This module can be installed discreetly behind materials such as wood, plastic, glass, or drywall for covert operation. Its IP66-rated enclosure ensures protection against dust and water, making it suitable for outdoor environments.
The MX-PROX-BOX connects to a Mobotix camera (sold separately) via a 1.64 foot MxBus cable. It includes features like a radial filter and predefined profiles for detecting approaching and distancing objects, with no need for temperature differences between items.
