The NovaStar MX40 PRO Controller is a professional media controller designed for LED displays in virtual production and ICVFX environments. It features 3 HDMI 2.0 female inputs, 1 DisplayPort 1.2 female input, 2 BNC 12G-SDI female inputs, 20 RJ45 Ethernet outputs, 1 HDMI 2.0 loop output, 2 BNC 12G-SDI loop outputs, 4 optical fiber 10G outputs, and 1 TOSLINK S/PDIF output. It also includes 1 BNC genlock input, 1 BNC genlock loop output, 2 RJ45 Ethernet control ports, 1 RJ45 auxiliary control port with RS-232, and 1 USB-A port for settings export.
The device has a 3.5" TFT LCD display, supports 128 presets, and is compatible with HDMI 2.0 up to 4096 x 2160p60 at various frame rates, HDR10, HLG, HDCP 2.2/1.4/1.3, and SMPTE standards including ST 2084, ST 2086, ST-424(3G), ST-292(HD), and ST-259(SD). It also includes EDID management and operates on 100-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 1.5 A.
