The Square D individual meter socket is designed to feed downstream main lug or main breaker load centers, or an enclosed service disconnect. It features a ringless design with 4 jaws, rated for 125A and 600VAC, ensuring robust performance for residential applications.
Units are supplied with a bonded neutral to a NEMA 3R steel enclosure and are UL Listed. The socket includes provisions for a bolt-on hub or closing plate when a hub opening is required in the top end wall. It is rated for a 10 kA RMS short circuit current and is designed for 1 phase, 3-wire wiring configurations.
