The Studio Technologies Model 545DC is a Dante to 2-Channel Party Line Intercom Interface designed for Broadcast and Thea. This device supports Dante Audio-over-Ethernet with AES67-2018 compatibility, featuring 2 transmit and 2 receive channels. It operates over a 100BASE-TX network interface and includes power-over-ethernet support. The unit has a frequency response range of -0.3 dB at 100 Hz (-4.8 dB at 20 Hz), -2 dB at 8 kHz (-2.6 dB at 10 kHz) for PL to Dante and -3.3 dB at 100 Hz (-19 dB at 20 Hz), -3.9 dB at 8 kHz (-5.8 dB at 10 kHz) for Dante to PL.
It also includes meters with five-segment LED displays and various connectors including two 3-pin male XLR party-line intercom ports, a neutrik ethercon rj45 jack, a 4-pin male xlr external dc port, and a type a usb receptacle. The device requires the Studio Technologies' STcontroller software for configuration and includes a USB flash drive for firmware updates. It is rated for operating temperatures of 0 to 50°C and humidity levels of 0 to 95%, noncondensing.
