The Veracity HIGHWIRE Powerstar Camera Backbox, model VHW-HWPS-CBB, is designed for use with camera housings and compatible with HIGHWIRE Powerstar base units. It supports RG59 coaxial cables for power delivery over the same line. The backbox provides 1.5 W of power with PoE input via coax from the base unit, outputting 802.3af or 802.3at standards. It features BNC 75 Ohm connectors and supports any 75 Ohm coaxial cable.
The device operates within a temperature range of -10 to 50°C when delivering PoE under 15 W, and -10 to 40°C for PoE+ over 15 W. It includes status LEDs indicating power link, Ethernet activity, and power availability levels. FCC, CE, and RoHS certifications are included.
