The Veracity LIGHTSPAN SC100 media converter is a slimline device designed for converting electrical signals to optical fiber. It features one SC Duplex connector operating at 125 Mb/s and one RJ45 Ethernet port supporting 10/100 Mb/s speeds. The unit includes detachable screw terminals for power connection, compatible with voltages ranging from 8 to 57 VDC or 20 to 28 VAC. It supports multimode optical fiber with a wavelength of 1310 nm and a transmission range up to 1.24 miles.
The converter includes LEDs for status indication including power, link, fault, and activity signals.
