The VIKING ELECTRONICS RAD-1A is a line-powered remote access device that provides reliable audio and telephone line interface for one-way paging amplifiers, digital announcers, and similar audio programs.

This unit features a status LED that illuminates when active, with brightness indicating audio presence. It includes programmable 6-digit security and access codes for controlled operation. Separate 600 ohm audio and telephone line outputs are built in, with a backup screw terminal connection for phone line output.
