It features a single USB connector and a 3.5mm TRRS port, allowing for the use of mono, stereo, or TRRS plugs. The compact form factor makes it suitable for various applications. The device supports programming on Windows XP through 8, Mac OS X 10.4 through 10.10, and includes software such as MacroWorks 3.1 for Windows, X-keys Android for Android, and ControllerMate for Mac OS X.
It also provides software development kits for multiple platforms including Windows, Linux, Android, and Raw HID for any language or operating system. The 3.5mm TRRS port can accommodate up to three switches. The USB 2.0 standard A plug is compatible with USB 1.1 through 3.0. The wiring distance allows for up to 1,000' (300 m) from the switch to the port. Memory capacity is approximately 1000 keystrokes or commands, stored in EEPROM non-volatile memory.
Power is sourced from a USB port with a nominal voltage of 5 VDC and a power consumption of 21 mA @ 5 VDC. The environmental temperature range is -4 to 140°F / -20 to 60°C, with an IP 40 rating for typical indoor office environments. It is FCC class B, CE, RoHS, and WEEE compliant.
