HES 8500-605 Electric Strike, Bright Brass

The HES 8500-605 Electric Strike in bright brass is a fire-rated, compact device designed for use with mortise locksets that do not include a deadbolt. It features a concealed design that fits easily into existing frames without cutting or extensive modification.

Constructed from stainless steel, the strike includes a keeper pin locking mechanism, enabling it to exceed Grade 1 strength ratings. It accommodates latchbolts with up to a 3/4-inch throw and complies with NFPA 80-07 for retrofit on fire-rated frames. The unit offers tamper resistance and supports a static load of 1,500 pounds and dynamic load of 70 ft-lbs, with endurance tested to 500,000 cycles.
