Delta comprises Farpointe Data’s 13.56 MHz line of contactless smartcard readers, cards, and tags. Based upon proven MIFARE digital radio frequency identification (RFID) technology, Delta readers interface with a wide range electronic access control systems by complying either the legacy Wiegand ABA Track II magnetic stripe formats, or latest bi-directional Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP). They offer value-add features such as MAXSecure ValidID, support sector card serial number (CSN) reads. Additionally, cards tags are passive devices, eliminate maintenance requiring no battery, can be ordered programmed to various formats encryption keys.
