American Fibertek MTX-986C 8-Ch Video w/MPD Data & CC 1RU Transmitter

The American Fibertek MTX-986C is an 8-channel video transmitter with MPD data and contact closure support. It operates in a 1RU rack-mount form factor and uses WDM technology for transmitting digitized video and serial data over multimode fiber.

This transmitter supports one channel of bi-directional multi-protocol data along with eight 10-bit video channels. It runs on 1310/1550 nm wavelengths with 12 dB optical budget and covers distances up to 1 km on multimode fiber. The system is fully transparent to all camera monitor manufacturers and requires no field adjustments or ongoing maintenance.
