The Aquatica Replacement Manual Secondary Bulkhead is a connector designed for connecting an Aquatica remote control/trigger to an underwater camera housing. It can also serve as a replacement for the older-design secondary bulkhead connector. The remote control/trigger connects to the Aquatica housing, allowing the camera shutter to be tripped from a distance. This is useful when photographing shy or dangerous animals without getting too close. A regular off-the-shelf sync cord, such as the Ikelite #4104.31 Ikelite to Nikonos cord (not included), can be used to connect the remote control/trigger to the secondary bulkhead. Extension cords are also available for longer reach.
