This 12-9C Type MC Cable features a PVC jacket with interlocked aluminum armor. Rated for 600 volts, it includes XLP VW-1 XHHW-2 insulated copper conductors suitable for control, power, and lighting circuits. The black jacket is sunlight resistant and meets UL MC, CT USE standards.
The cable is approved for wet and dry locations up to 90°C continuous operation. It can be installed indoors, outdoors, aerially, in conduits, ducts, and trays, or for direct burial. It is suitable for NEC Class I, II, Division 2, and Class III hazardous locations.
- Conductors: Soft bare annealed copper per ASTM B-3, B stranding B-8
- Insulation: Cross-linked polyethylene (XLP) XHHW-2 style
- Jacket: Black sunlight-resistant PVC
