Type TFN 18 AWG solid building wire is suitable for fixture wiring, machine tool wiring, and appliance wiring as specified in the 2008 National Electrical Code. It operates safely at temperatures up to 90°C. This wire is rated for 600 volts and complies with UL Standard 66.
Constructed with solid copper conductors, it features a heat- and moisture-resistant polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulation, covered by a durable nylon jacket. The insulation thickness measures 0.015 inches, with a 0.004-inch nylon jacket, and the wire has an outside diameter of 0.078 inches.
