The Exane 1068A wire is built for demanding transportation industry environments. It features flame retardant, thermoset insulation rated for temperatures from -55°C to 110°C. This cable offers superior protection against cut-through, crush, and abrasion compared to rubber, EPR, Neoprene, or Hypalon materials. It also resists moisture, oils, and sunlight while meeting strict low smoke and acid gas standards.
- Meets AAR RP-585/S-501 and ICEA S-66-524 standards
- Passes NFPA 130-2014 and UL 1685 flame tests
- Conductor: annealed, tinned copper, 105 strands of 24 AWG
- Insulation thickness: 0.045 inches, outside diameter 0.411 inches
- Ampacity: 214 A at 110°C in air
