This 250 MCM stranded aluminum conductor is rated for 15KV underground residential distribution (URD) with a 133% concentric neutral consisting of 13 strands of #14 copper wire. It features a solid compressed soft drawn 1350 series aluminum conductor meeting ASTM standards.
Insulated with high dielectric strength TR-XLPE and protected by a black low-density polyethylene jacket with three red stripes and NESC lightning bolt markings, the cable is suitable for direct burial or conduit installation in wet or dry locations. It supports continuous operation at 90°C and emergency short circuit conditions up to 250°C.
