Exane® 1068A transit cable, sized 262 MCM, is rated for 600 volts and built for demanding transportation applications. This cut-to-length cable is sold by the foot with a minimum order of 100 feet and a maximum of 1000 feet.
The cable features thermoset insulation offering a temperature range from -55°C to 110°C. It resists abrasion, crush, and cut-through damage significantly better than rubber, EPR, Neoprene, or Hypalon. This cable also withstands moisture, oil, sunlight, and maintains low smoke and acid gas generation under fire conditions.
Key specifications include annealed tin-coated copper conductor strands (650/24), 0.065-inch insulation thickness, and 0.765-inch outside diameter. The ampacity is rated at 524 amps at 110°C ambient temperature.
