This 4-3C with Ground Type MC Cable features a PVC jacket and aluminum interlocked armor. It is rated 600 Volt UL MC and CT USE, suitable for wet or dry locations at 90°C continuous operation. The aluminum armor offers mechanical protection while remaining lightweight and flexible.
The cable includes copper conductors with XLP XHHW-2 insulation, sized 4 AWG for conductors and 8 AWG for ground. It meets ASTM B-3 and UL 1581 flame test standards and is approved for hazardous locations including NEC Class I, II, Division 2 and III, 1 areas.
- Conductor: Soft bare annealed copper, 7 strands per conductor
- Insulation: Cross-linked polyethylene, 0.045 inches minimum thickness
- Jacket: Black PVC, sunlight resistant, 0.050 inches minimum thickness
- Armor diameter: 0.93 inches overall diameter 1.04 inches
- Cut to length, sold by the foot (minimum 50 feet, maximum 2500 feet)
