A 2 inch trade size conduit outlet box with 76 cubic inch capacity and epoxy powder coated finish. Rated for explosionproof and dust-ignitionproof use with NEMA 3 and 4 ratings.
Copperfree aluminum construction holds a 76 cubic inch capacity for electrical connections and conduit runs. The box features two 2 inch GRC hubs with accurately tapered and tapped threads to ensure tight, rigid joints and ground continuity. Its internally threaded body combines with an externally threaded cover that includes pry notches to facilitate removal with a bar or wrench. The epoxy powder coated finish enhances corrosion resistance, suitable for indoor or outdoor environments. Standard O-rings provide a raintight seal meeting NEMA 3 and 4 requirements. An internal ground screw is included along with a smooth, rounded integral bushing in the hub to protect conductor insulation. Certified for Class 1 Division 1 and 2, Groups B, C, D; Class 2 Division 1 and 2, Groups E, F, G; and Class 3 hazardous locations, the outlet box complies with UL and CSA standards. It accommodates sealing fittings, dome covers, hub covers, and canopies, functioning as sealing fittings when used with sealing covers.
