The Alpha 5098C 24/8C Xtra-Guard 1 shielded cable offers reliable performance in a compact design. It features eight 24 AWG stranded, tinned copper conductors with 0.010-inch insulation thickness for durability and flexibility. This cable includes an aluminum/polyester foil shield with a 25% overlap facing inward, providing solid protection against EMI interference.
The gray jacket is made of premium-grade PVC, rated for 300 volts, and built to resist oils according to UL Oil Res I (60C RES) Class 43. It supports operating temperatures up to 105 °C and withstands a temperature range of -35 °C to +105 °C. Additional features include a nylon ripcord and a drain wire sized the same as the conductor, enhancing installation and shielding performance.
