Alpha AEMOD8 56Kbps External USB Modem Unit

The Alpha AEMOD8 is a 56Kbps external USB modem that connects through a 4-pin Type A USB port and features one RJ-11 phone line port. It supports the ITU-T V.92 standard for data transmission at speeds up to 56Kbps.

This compact modem operates via USB bus power and includes capabilities such as caller ID, wake on ring, telephone answering as per V.253, and call hold functionality. It is suitable for use with PC master stations where internal modems or other devices may not meet all software requirements. The unit connects externally and may require AlphaEntry software when used with supplied hardware.
