This adapter converts the V-mount battery plate of a RED DSMC2 V-Lock Expander Module to a Gold mount. It allows use of Gold mount batteries with RED DSMC2 cameras. The top of the adapter is flush with the camera and expander module, maintaining a low profile. The adapter mounts onto the V-mount without requiring tools for installation or removal. It passes power to the camera and transmits voltage information to be displayed in the camera's viewfinder.
