The API AUDIO 312 500-Series Microphone Preamp Module offers a range of gain control from +34 to +69 dB, with an optional pad that reduces the gain to +14 to +49 dB. The maximum input level is -4 dBu, which can be increased to +16 dBu with the pad. The output level reaches up to +31 dBu, with an output impedance of less than 70 Ohms. The frequency response spans from 20 Hz to 40 kHz with a tolerance of ±0.5 dB. The signal-to-noise ratio is 120 dB. It requires a proprietary interface power source and operates on 16 VDC with a current consumption of 55 mA. The module includes two 500-Series rack screws for front mounting and is available in black, constructed from metal.
