Belden 8105 is a 24 AWG computer cable with five twisted pairs designed for EIA RS-232 and RS-422 applications. Each conductor is stranded tinned copper (7x32) with Datalene insulation to minimize capacitance. The cable features an overall Beldfoil shield providing 100% coverage, combined with a 65% coverage braid shield and a drain wire for reliable grounding.
The jacket is made of chrome-colored PVC, offering durability and flexibility with an overall diameter of 0.303 inches. This construction helps maintain signal integrity in data transmission environments.
