The Black Box Analog Design HG-2 is a line-level, stereo unit designed to provide exceptional saturation, harmonic richness, natural compression, and tonal enhancement for mixing and mastering. It combines tubes, transformers, and tone-shaping capabilities to simplify signal chains while adding character and control. The device features dual-path tube saturation with selectable parallel saturation frequency, additional tonal controls, and custom output stage. It includes metering and bypass functions with true bypass. The HG-2 is suitable for mix bus applications and other uses such as individual instruments, synths, and stereo sources.
