The Bogen BUFEX is a continuously variable speaker attenuator built to remotely adjust the volume of network speakers. It supports up to 150 self-amplified inputs and expands existing central amplifier systems operating at 100V, 70V, or 25V.
This unit includes a bypass override knob that activates via contact closure or open collector output, ensuring emergency announcements are audible through all speakers regardless of volume settings. A PCB-mounted trim allows mode adjustment with up to 12 dB attenuation.
The BUFEX mounts into a single gang electrical box and features a rugged stainless steel plate with engraved lettering. Connections are made through an easy, secure terminal strip.
