The Bosch API-AMC2-16ION is a standalone access controller used in Bosch's ACE ENGINE control systems from version 2.0 onward, including Personal and Professional Editions. It manages up to eight access points such as doors, gates, barriers, turnstiles, mantraps, and ID card readers.
This controller supports full processing logic for each assigned entrance. It monitors status through 16 inputs and activates outputs via relay signals for locking, unlocking, and security alarms. Data and event information is stored in battery-backed memory and compact flash storage, enabling autonomous operation even when offline.
The module includes four interfaces with power supply, a 2 GB flash memory, and an LCD display for system information. It is ideal for monitoring multiple devices simultaneously and integrating with external security systems.
