It includes 2 x RJ-45 connectors allowing for daisy-chaining with TIA/EIA 568B wiring standard. Channel selection is via 8 DIP switch bank. The device is a passive controller with linear potentiometer (0 ohm to 10 kilohms) and 4-position switch. Cat5 cable requirements are needed. Maximum cable length for FreeSpace and PowerShare amplifiers is 2000' / 609 m, for ControlSpace processors it is 500' / 152 m (shielded cable) and 100' / 30 m (unshielded cable).
