The Comnet CLFE4+2SMSPOEU is a rugged six-port Ethernet switch designed for harsh environments. It features four 10/100 Mbps RJ-45 ports and two extended range ports that support copper or coaxial CableLine extension for data transmission.

This switch supports add, drop, and repeat functionality, allowing data to be combined and forwarded along copper lines without any programming. It comes pre-configured to prevent video flooding and supports IEEE 802.3at PoE+ for up to 30 watts per port, delivering a total PoE budget of approximately 280 W.

The device includes voltage transient protection on all signal lines and meets industry standards such as NEMA TS-1/TS-2 and Caltrans Specification for traffic control equipment. The ComFit form factor enables flexible installation options including standalone or rack mount.
