The ComNet CNFE1CL1MC Ethernet over Coax Converter transmits 10/100 Mbps Ethernet signals over coaxial cable using VDSL2 technology. This rugged, environmentally hardened unit supports data rates up to 90 Mbps and extends transmission distances up to 10,000 feet (3 km) over copper coaxial cable.
It features a single 10/100 BASE-T/TX port with automatic crossover and a coax connection via BNC and terminal block connectors. The converter operates with user-configurable settings including master/remote mode, forward error correction, symmetrical or asymmetrical data, and long or short reach.
