Comnet CNFE3DOE2-M RS232/422/485 Data Over Ethernet Terminal Server

The Comnet CNFE3DOE2-M terminal server supports RS232, RS422, and 2- or 4-wire RS485 serial circuits over a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet network. It accommodates two serial ports and includes three electrical ports plus one SFP port for flexible connectivity options.

This device facilitates IP network tunneling and media conversion between copper and fiber optic transmissions. It supports secure remote access via SSH and SSL, allowing control of connected hardware without needing a direct serial connection on the PC. A USB-to-COM converter may be required for newer PCs lacking DB9 serial ports.
