The Comnet CNGE3FE8MSK is an 11 port managed Ethernet switch kit designed for outdoor and harsh environments. It includes three 100/1000Base-FX SFP ports and eight 10/100Base-TX RJ-45 ports. Two of the SFP ports support 2.5 Gbps modules for higher bandwidth applications.
This hardened switch supports multiple redundancy protocols including MSTP, RSTP, STP, and ERPS (G.8032) to maintain network reliability by redirecting traffic during failures. It provides advanced IP management features, allowing control over bandwidth for each connected device.
- Supports IGMP Snooping, LACP, QoS, VLAN, and 802.1x authentication
- Includes a hardened power supply PS-AMR2-12 and two SFP-6 modules
- DIN-rail and wall mountable with IP65+ rated enclosure for outdoor use
- Management options include web, Telnet, console CLI, and Windows-based eConsole utility
