The Comnet FXA2C1M1B is a 2-channel multimode 'B' end audio transceiver designed for fiber optic audio transmission. It uses a single multimode fiber and supports bi-directional balanced line-level audio along with bi-directional contact closure.
These units feature 24-bit digitally encoded audio at a 96 kHz sample rate, delivering a frequency response from 20 Hz to 20 kHz with 600Ω input impedance. Status is monitored via bi-color LED indicators, and installation requires no electrical or optical adjustments thanks to its plug-and-play design.
Housed in a ComNet ComFit enclosure, the FXA2C1M1B can be rack or surface mounted. The unit supports hot-swappable operation and includes automatic resettable fuses on all power lines for protection.
