The Corning MIC Tight-Buffered Cable features 6 strands of multimode OM3 fiber with a plenum-rated jacket for indoor use. This cable supports riser and general-purpose intrabuilding backbone and horizontal installations. The 900 μm TBII Buffered Fibers simplify stripping and termination processes.
Constructed with all-dielectric materials, it requires no grounding or bonding. The cable includes dielectric strength members and a flame-retardant outer jacket, meeting NEC Article 770 OFNP FT-6 standards. It is suitable for installation in shafts, telecommunications rooms, and workstations.
