The CRU-DataPort USB 3.1 WriteBlocker is designed for examining information stored on external drives while preventing any manipulation of the content. It features a USB Type-C host connection and includes a Type-C to Type-A cable, allowing use on multiple computers. The device has two Type-C and one Type-A source ports, enabling examination of various external drives without additional devices. It can inspect a single drive via bus power or use an included AC adapter to examine up to three drives simultaneously. A status LED indicates when a drive is safe to inspect, ensuring reliable evidence protection. Compatible with Windows 8.1 and 10.
