01
Part numbers matter more than appearance
Two devices can share a product family name and still be electrically or mechanically incompatible. The complete manufacturer part number, suffixes and option codes should be checked whenever possible rather than relying only on a product photo.
02
Confirm quantity and unit of measure
Cable, wire, terminals, fasteners and industrial materials may be sold by each, box, reel, length or package. Confirming the unit of measure prevents quantity misunderstandings that can also change shipping weight and freight requirements.
03
Replacement and compatibility checks
For replacement equipment, provide the old model, nameplate information and clear photos when relevant. For new projects, identify the required interface, voltage, environment, mounting and system compatibility before the order is finalized.
04
Why confirmation improves logistics
Accurate product selection improves the shipping quote because size, weight, packaging and hazardous or special-handling characteristics depend on the actual item. Product confirmation therefore supports both technical accuracy and delivery planning.
