The Eclipse Tools MT-7028 Network Tone/Probe Kit is a versatile instrument for cable tracing and continuity testing. It supports RJ45 LAN cables (Cat 5, 5e, 6, 7), RJ11/12 telephone cables (Cat 3), and standard solid or stranded wires using alligator clips or patch cords.
This kit features tone tracing up to 3 kilometers, with options for fast and slow scanning. It offers pin mapping with crossover detection, plus non-contact voltage detection for 90 to 1000 volts to ensure circuits are de-energized before testing.
