Wall-mount racks and brackets provide equipment support where a full-height floor rack is unnecessary or space is limited. This category includes rack brackets, swing frames and hinged or pivoting mounting solutions for network, structured-cabling and AV installations. Different designs provide different levels of access to the front and rear of the equipment.
Compare usable rack height, mounting width, equipment depth and the stated load rating. Allow room for connectors, cable bends, ventilation and any doors or frames that must swing open. A shallow patch-panel bracket and a deeper equipment rack are not interchangeable simply because they share a nominal rack width.
Check the mounting surface and the manufacturer's fixing requirements before selecting hardware. Review whether rails, shelves, fasteners and cable-management components are included or purchased separately, and confirm that the rack will support the intended equipment arrangement.
