The FlashForge AD5X Multicolor 3D Printer features an 8.7 x 8.7 x 8.7" build volume and includes a monitoring camera for printing via USB, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi. It is compatible with Mac, Windows, and Linux operating systems. The printer uses Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) technology, marketed as Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM). It supports filament diameters of 1.75 and 2.85 mm, and has a heated build plate with manual leveling. The printer can handle .fpp, .gx, .obj, and .stl file types. It includes one extruder with a 0.4 mm nozzle, capable of printing at speeds up to 600 mm/s. The positioning precision is 400 micron on the XY axis, 600 micron on the XY axis, 800 micron on the XY axis, and 250 micron on the XY axis.
