HID FP0500A MR Reader, Module

The HID FP0500A MR Reader Module is a 125 kHz proximity reader featuring FlexSecur technology for enhanced access security. It offers a read range of up to 12 inches, suitable for applications requiring medium-range detection.

This reader is compatible with U.S. style single or double gang back boxes and supports indoor and outdoor use, thanks to its fully potted, weatherproof electronics. It provides selectable Wiegand or Magnetic Stripe (Clock & Data) outputs, enabling easy integration with most access control panels.

The unit includes independently controllable audio tones separate from LED indicators and offers various snap-on bezels in multiple colors and styles. Card programming is handled through the ProxSmith Programmer for customizable site configurations without factory formatting.
