IDEAL FT-45 Feed-Thru Modular Plug Crimp Tool

Despite its small size, the FT-45™ offers a highly effective solution for installing and terminating RJ-45 connectors. It is engineered to work seamlessly with IDEAL Feed-Thru Modular plugs and other feed-thru style connectors, enabling users to verify wire order before crimping.

During crimping, the tool shears excess conductors and leaves a smooth, flat end face, reducing the risk of shorting or contact issues in plug jacks. It features a universal crimp cavity compatible with RJ-45 / 8-position connectors, suitable for feed-thru, standard, or shielded connectors for CAT5e and CAT6 cables.

Additional features include a heavy-duty cutting blade that maintains sharpness for over 2,000 cuts, a patent-pending mechanical design requiring less hand force, and a compact size of 5 1/2 inches in length, weighing just over 1/2 pound for easy portability.
