The Interlogix 430085501 Model 971 Proximity Perfect Reader offers flexible access control options with multiple selectable operation modes. Its rugged ABS plastic housing is weather-resistant and mounts directly to a wall or standard USA dual-width electrical box.
This model includes a mechanical tamper switch that triggers an alert if the reader is removed or separated from its backplate. The 971 is compatible with conventional metal installations using the supplied backplate. For installations with back-to-back readers, an optional isolation plate prevents cross-reading of badges.

- Up to 25 cm badge read range
- Four user-selectable operation modes
- Supervised microcontroller communication
