The iOptron HEM44EC GoTo Telescope Mount features a strain wave drive for RA movement and a worm/belt drive for declination. It is designed without the need for counterweights, making it lightweight and compact. The mount includes a precision encoder and supports wireless connectivity. With a payload capacity of 44 lb / 20 kg, it is suitable for various telescope models. The mounting system allows attachment to a tripod or base using dual Losmandy- or Vixen-type saddles.
It offers latitude adjustment from 15 to 65° and operates on 12 VDC at 5 A with 100 to 240 VAC, 50 / 60 Hz. The unit includes RS-232/RS-422 and mini-USB inputs for connectivity.
