The JBL CBT1000 is a two-way line array column loudspeaker featuring constant beamwidth technology. It includes an asymmetrical vertical cove design. The speaker has a total passive power handling of 1000 W / 4080 W peak (100 hours) and 1500 W / 6000 W peak (2 hours). The nominal impedance is 8 ohms for the low-frequency driver and 4 ohms for the high-frequency driver. The low-frequency driver consists of 6x 6.5" / 16.5 cm woofers with a 2" / 50.8 mm voice coil and neodymium magnet.
The high-frequency driver includes 24x 1" / 25.4 mm tweeters with neodymium magnets. The frequency range is 45 Hz to 20 kHz (-10 dB). The enclosure is sealed, and there are no constant voltage or transformer taps. The maximum SPL is 137 dB (peak) and 134 dB (continuous). The speaker sensitivity is 102 dB. There are no equalization or filter options.
