The Jonard Tools JIC-63050 High-Leverage Cable Cutter is constructed from chrome vanadium steel with induction-hardened cutting edges for maximum strength and durability. It features a high-leverage design for superior cutting ability and a shear-type jaw that easily cuts through aluminum, copper, and 100-pair 24 AWG cable. The ergonomically designed handle includes a dipped plastic grip for greater comfort and torque. This tool can cut 2/0 copper, 4/0 aluminum, and 100-pair cable (24 AWG). It is not suitable for use on steel or ACSR-type cable.
